Monthly protocol

Foundation Protocol: The GLP-1 Essentials

Short answer

The Foundation Protocol covers the three gaps that appear first on a GLP-1: micronutrients lost to reduced food volume, electrolytes lost to blunted thirst, and magnesium for constipation and sleep. It's the right starting point if you're in your first three months or don't know where to begin.

If you're new to a GLP-1 and reading conflicting supplement advice, the honest answer is that most people need three things covered before anything else: micronutrients, hydration, and magnesium.

That's what this protocol is. It isn't the biggest stack we sell — it's the one that prevents the most common problems for the most people.

  • Covers micronutrient gaps from eating substantially less food
  • Daily electrolytes for blunted thirst and lower fluid intake
  • Evening magnesium for regularity and sleep
  • Ships monthly and saves versus buying the items separately

Who this is for

  • Anyone in their first one to three months on Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound
  • People whose main issues are fatigue, headaches, mild constipation, and poor sleep
  • Anyone who wants a simple, low-decision starting point rather than a ten-product stack
  • People not currently training hard — if you are, the Lean & Strong Protocol is the better fit

Why these three, specifically

When food volume drops by half, micronutrient intake drops with it. You don't feel a vitamin D or B12 gap immediately — you feel it as unexplained fatigue eight weeks later. A complete multivitamin is cheap insurance against that.

Electrolytes address the fluid problem: less food means less water from food, and GLP-1 medications blunt thirst. Headaches, dizziness, and fatigue in the first weeks are very often this.

Magnesium in the evening does double duty — it supports bowel regularity against slowed transit, and it supports sleep quality, which tends to suffer during rapid weight loss.

Your daily schedule

  • Morning, with your first food: complete multivitamin
  • Mid-morning: electrolyte serving in 500 ml of water
  • Throughout the day: aim for 2.5–3 litres of total fluid
  • Evening, 30–60 minutes before bed: magnesium glycinate
  • Injection day and the day after: consider a second electrolyte serving

What to expect, and when

  • Week 1: hydration-related headaches and afternoon fatigue often ease first
  • Weeks 1–2: sleep quality and bowel regularity typically improve with evening magnesium
  • Weeks 4–8: micronutrient support is preventative — you notice its absence, not its presence
  • If constipation is still your dominant issue after two weeks, add fiber from the digestive range
